MARIETTA HIGH SCHOOL ANNOUNCEMENTS

Reminder there will be a one hour delay tomorrow, November 4.

Shirock tickets will be sold during study hall, during both lunches, and in the office during 6th period. Tickets are $1.

SHIROCK an alternative band from Nashville, Tennessee, will be live in concert at Marietta High School today, November 3, during 6th and 7th periods! You have probably heard Shirock on MTV’s The Hills and on ABC’s Brothers and Sisters. Admission is $1. Tickets can be purchased in advance during lunch or at the door the day of the show. The band will bring CD’s and t-shirts so bring extra cash if you want! Shirock is excited to come back to Marietta High School…. We can’t wait for the show…you don’t want to miss this!!! Don’t forget, just $1 gets you in the show and out of class! The band will be meeting with students during lunch and after the concert. Any girls or boys interested in joining or helping the swim team, there will be a short informational meeting on Friday, November 6, at 3:00 pm. Please bring contact information, swim suit size, and YMCA membership if you have one.

Daily Conditioning for Wrestling began yesterday, November 2, and will run all week from 3 to 4:30 at North Hills. All interested in wrestling please make plans to attend and bring tennis shoes and workout clothes.

There will be a student council meeting Thursday, November 5, in Mrs. Warren’s room 5B.

There will be a short Math Club meeting Wednesday, November 4, after school in room 214. Bring t-shirt designs.

Sophomores, Junior & Seniors: You may register for the Americanism test in the guidance office. This free test is provided by the American Legion Post 64 on November 5 during 2nd period. There will be a male and female winner from each class. The senior class winners qualify for a local scholarship. Remember that space is limited.

Juniors & Seniors: OGT make-up testing will take place during the week on November 2-5. If you need to make-up any remaining test(s), go to your 1st period class for attendance before reporting to the library.

ASVAB - The results are back and will be interpreted on Thursday, November 5, during 4th period.
