There is still time to enroll in classes this summer at Washington State Community College (WSCC). Starting Monday, July 16th, students can begin taking summer courses, both online and on campus. Prospective and current students can review what classes are available for this term on the college’s website,, and clicking the “Class Schedule” link underneath the “Current Students” tab.

The two-year academic honor society Phi Theta Kappa, recently inducted 42 Washington State Community College (WSCC) students in its Spring Quarter Induction Ceremony. Phi Theta Kappa (PTK) Faculty Advisory Brad Merritt introduced the ceremony with WSCC President Dr. Bradley Ebersole presenting welcoming remarks.


dr mark nutterWashington State Community College's (WSCC) Chief Academic Officer, Dr. Mark Nutter, is retiring from the college after 21 years. To celebrate this milestone of achievement, WSCC hosted a Retirement Reception for Dr. Nutter on Tuesday, May 29th at the college campus.

Washington State Community College (WSCC) student Michael Krichten recently presented legislative proposals during an official session of the Ohio Senate Finance Committee. This presentation was part of Krichten's membership on the 2012 Ohio Student Education Policy Institute – a college student advisory board, the first of its kind, with an exclusive opportunity to present their voice to policymakers.

Twenty-eight high school students from Washington, Morgan, and Meigs counties were honored during the 2012 Student Recognition Dinner for the Southeast Regional Center's Ohio College Tech Prep, held at the Marietta Country Club on Thursday, May 10th.
