Alumni and students are “falling into WSCC” at Washington State Community College’s Second Annual Homecoming. The 2012 Homecoming, October 26 through November 2, includes activities for alumni, families, students, and the community.


The AmeriCorps Ohio College Guides from Washington State Community College will be holding a Halloween Carnival in Morgan County to support Saving Pets One at a Time, Inc. (S.P.O.T.), in recognition of Make a Difference Day.


Washington State Community College’s free employment search group, Network Alliance, teaches the skills necessary to improve career opportunities in the Mid Ohio Valley. It’s open to the entire community, free of charge, and will begin a new seven-week series starting on Thursday, October 25.


Washington State Community College presented a Banned Books Reading event in celebration of National Banned Books Week – held this year from September 30 to October 6, and sponsored by the American Library Association.


Tallies have been counted for a recent 9/11 Donation Drive, put on by AmeriCorps College Guides at Washington State Community College (WSCC).  The two-week long drive was in honor of the 9/11 National Day of Service and Remembrance and involved putting together care packages to send to U.S. military troops stationed overseas.
