MARIETTA, Ohio (June 8, 2015) – Washington State Community College (WSCC) is pleased to announce that Memorial Health System has been selected as the new operator of the Evergreen Child Development Center. Memorial Health System was one of two organizations that responded to the College's Request for Proposals in May. The other organization to respond was the Marietta YMCA.




MARIETTA, Ohio (May 22, 2015) – Washington State Community College (WSCC) is excited to announce three selections for the May Student of the Month program. The program was created to recognize those students that strive for success by overcoming obstacles and committing to complete their education. WSCC has selected Stacy Hrinko, Andrew Kasick, and Andrew Simms for recognition as the May Students of the Month.


MARIETTA, Ohio (May 13, 2015) –Washington State Community College (WSCC) is pleased to announce that seven programs in its Health Sciences Division are ranked above the national average for student pass rates for their respective certification and licensure exam in each program on the first attempt. Successful completion of these exams is an indicator to employers that the graduates are proficient in their knowledge and skills. In addition, WSCC boasts five Health Sciences Programs ranked at the 95 percentile and above for job placement of students upon graduation. This is significant as the Class of 2015 prepares to graduate from WSCC on May 16.
