Two New Hires, One Transfer
Starting this winter quarter, Washington State Community College has two new hires and a transfer of faculty within our teaching community.
Elizabeth Tokodi-Ruth first started with Washington State in 2007 as an Accounting Instructor and in 2012, is transitioning into the position of Business Management Instructor. Tokodi-Ruth graduated Deans List from Marshall University in 1998, and in 2009 obtained her Master of Business Administration from Keller Graduate School of Management. Her past work experience includes teaching at Belpre Elementary and Warren Elementary from 2002-2004.
The College welcomes Donna Melick as Associate Professor with the ADN program, starting this winter quarter. Melick has a Master of Business Administration in Health Care from Franklin University, a Master of Science in Nursing from Otterbein University, and will graduate with a Doctor of Education in Higher Education Leadership from Northcentral University in 2013. Melick maintains over twenty years of nursing experience, and fourteen years experience as a nursing instructor. Her previous honors include the 2009 Teacher of the Year from Ohio Magazine.
Angela Iafrate is starting with Washington State as a Library Technician this quarter. Iafrate is a Parkersburg High School graduate and received both a Bachelor of Arts and Master of Arts from West Virginia University. Her previous work experience includes Adult Education Instructor with Open Door Literacy in West Virginia, Graduate Teaching Assistant in Spanish at WVU, and as a Reference Assistant with the Morgantown Public Library and Parkersburg and Wood County Public Library.
