The Phi Theta Kappa (PTK) chapter at Washington State Community College (WSCC) will be hosting a dog wash event on Friday, June 7th and Saturday, June 8th at Tractor Supply in Marietta. From 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM on both days, pet owners can make donations in exchange for a bath for their canine. Monetary donations, dog food, and cat food will all be accepted, and all donations will go to the Washington County Humane Society. Dog owners can be assured that their pooches will be pampered, as professional dog groomer Melinda Norris of Gracie's Grooming Salon will be on hand to lend her expertise for the event.

PTK is an international honor society organization at two-year colleges, and WSCC's chapter is highly active in the local community. They have organized numerous events focused on fund raising and community improvement.

All members of the community are encouraged to come by Tractor Supply on June 7th and 8th to make a donation to support the Washington County Humane Society.
