Washington State Community College Foundation Receives Grant from Sisters of Health Foundation for a New ALS Simulator

MARIETTA, Ohio (November 25, 2015)-- A recent grant of nearly $12,000 from Sisters Health Foundation has resulted in the purchase of an Advanced Life Support (ALS) Simulator for Washington State Community College's Health Sciences Division.

Washington State Community College Business, Engineering & Industrial Technology Department Showcases Impressive Array of Skills at Annual Open House

MARIETTA, OHIO (November 18, 2015) –The seductive roar of the V10 engine of a Dodge Viper pierced the hallways of Washington State Community College at the recent Business, Engineering, Industrial Technologies & Workforce Development department's open house. Harnessed to a Dyno machine, students revved the sports car's engine to showcase the impressive 450 hp and 528 foot pounds of torque. Speed topped out at 160 mph and left the spectators in awe.

Blucker Selected as November Student of the Month

MARIETTA, Ohio (November 12, 2015) – Washington State Community College (WSCC) is excited to announce the November Student of the Month. The program was created to recognize those students that strive for success by overcoming obstacles and committing to complete their education. WSCC has selected Candise Blucker for recognition as the November Student of the Month. The receipt of this honor is especially important as November is when we honor our service personnel and Candise was an E4 United State Marine.
