The Evergreen Arts & Humanities Series of Washington State Community College (WSCC) will present the 7th program of its 13th season, with local naturalist, artist, author and ecologist Julie Zickefoose, who will read from her newly published book The Bluebird Effect: Uncommon Bonds with Common Birds....
Washington State Community College (WSCC) will showcase the creativity, talent, and dedication of its current and former art students with the premiere of the WSCC Student and Alumni Art Show on Friday, March 30 at the Parkersburg Art Center in West Virginia.
Ten WSCC students and alumni are presenting about twenty different pieces of artwork, including paintings, drawings, sketches, sculptures, and photography. The Parkersburg Art Center will have the exhibit start March 30th, running through April 28th.
Several of the participating artists will attend the show’s premiere, along with WSCC Art Instructor John Crum. “This is a great opportunity for our students to show off their work and for the entire mid-Ohio valley community to see what WSCC has to offer,” says Crum.
The WSCC Student and Alumni Art Show premieres at 5:30 p.m. on Friday, March 30 in the Esbenshade Gallery of the Parkersburg Art Center (725 Market Street, Parkersburg WV).
