WSCC Digital Tech Students Aid in Updating St. John's Central Catholic School's Technology

Washington State Community College Medical Laboratory Technology Program Earns Reaccreditation by NAACLS

MARIETTA, Ohio (October 27, 2015) –Washington State Community College (WSCC) is pleased to announce that the Medical Laboratory Technology (MLT) program has earned reaccreditation by National Accrediting Agency for Clinical Laboratory Sciences (NAACLS) for the maximum reaccreditation award period of 10 years.

The program was created to recognize those students that strive for success by overcoming obstacles and committing to complete their education. WSCC has selected Corina Neff for recognition as the October Student of the Month.



MARIETTA, Ohio (October 21, 2015) –
Washington State Community College (WSCC) hosted approximately 1,300 students at the 23rd annual Young Engineers and Scientists (YES) Days on Oct. 15 & 16. Designed to get students interested in careers in science and engineering, the program gives students an opportunity to hear directly from local businesses about how they incorporate science and engineering into daily practice.



MARIETTA, Ohio (October 12, 2015) –
The Auto/Diesel Technology Program at Washington State Community College (WSCC) recently added a brand new, state-of-the-art John Bean V3400 wireless imaging wheel alignment system to its automotive lab.  WSCC invested $26,000 for the purchase of the automotive and light truck wheel alignment machine, sold by Snap-on, which includes the wheel alignment machine, Vehicle Identification Number reader, and dual wheel adaptor. The John Bean alignment machine provides flexible installation, usage and mobility options and has patented digital camera tracking that automatically adjusts to the height of the vehicle being worked on. With the machine’s installation in September 2015, it is now available for hands-on use by students in the classroom.
