The Office of Academic Affairs coordinates the work of all of the college's degree and certificate programs, distance learning, workforce development, the records office, and the library. Academic Affairs also oversees the college's institutional accreditation processes.

The ultimate goal of Academic Affairs is to help students be successful academically, personally, and professionally.

  • The Office of the Vice President for Academic Affairs - Academic and workforce development programs enhance student's success by providing excellent educational experiences leading to transfer or employment in support of the needs of business, industry, healthcare, and public service. The office also maintains the college's accreditation through the Academic Quality Improvement Program (AQIP) of the Higher Learning Commission.
  • Arts & Sciences Division - The A&S Division enhances students' success by providing courses with high standards, creating motivation for life-long learning, and creating a supporting learning environment.
  • Division of Business, Engineering, Industrial Technologies and Workforce Development - The BEITW Division provides students with the latest training  to meet local business & industry needs as well as transfer opportunities for those who desire further education beyond WSCC. Workforce Development focuses on enhancing students' skills for specific workforce needs.
  • HealthSciences Division - The Health Sciences Division enhances student success by providing accessible and superior educastion which focuses on preparing competent and professional entry level healthcare practitioners.
  • Distance Learning - The Office of Distance Learning enhances students' success by providing high-quality and affordable student-centered technical and pedagogical support for online and blended classes.
  • Records Office - The Records Office enhances student success by delivering an efficient registration process and by being the keeper of accurate academic records.
  • Library Services - The Library staff supports stuent success by building a scholarly collection that suppports the curri ulum and by providing timely research instruction and/or individual assistance for successful completion of assignments.
