Washington State's Physical Science transfer program prepares you to transfer into fields such as medicine, dentistry, pharmacy, astronomy, meteorology, environmental science, chemistry and physics. We build mathematical, science, analytical and communication skills.
Graduates will be able to:
- Demonstrate competency in a science field through Chemistry, Mathematics and Physics courses.
- Demonstrate the ability to think critically, solve problems and communicate effectively.
- Effectively use technology related to science such as: Mathematica, graphing calculators, computer, Microsoft Excel, graphics analysis, and word processing programs.
- Evaluate and interpret experimental results, calculations and technology.
Course listings with descriptions of each class may be found in the Washington State Community College Catalog. www.wscc.edu (.pdf)
Additional courses may be needed to meet the 57 Transfer Module credit hour minimum. When selecting electives at Washington State, students should plan for the foreign language requirements of the baccalaureate programs they intend to complete. For more information about transfer, click here.
