Executive Administrative Assistant
The Program:
If planning and scheduling meetings, informing and communicating with managers, organizing and maintaining paperwork, managing projects and conducting research sound exciting to you, then Washington State's Executive Administrative Assistant program is the right choice. This program emphasizes administrative skills essential to any professional office career. You will become proficient with current software packages while developing business editing and proofreading skills.
Program Goals:
- Demonstrate keyboarding skills necessary to secure employment in an executive office environment.
- Create and compile documents which demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and Windows software.
- Demonstrate proficiency in effectively using office technology including but not limited to: scanners, digital cameras, and laptops.
- Adapt to professional work ethic habits such as: attendance, performance, preparedness, and teamwork.
- Discuss job search skills and techniques necessary for employment in an executive office environment.
- Explain awareness of global/cultural issues as related to executive topics and business issues.
