"Succeed With Student Support Services"
Our Goal: To provide direct services for participants to ensure that students maintain good grades in their academic programs and to complete an associate degree and/or transfer to a four year institution.
Services Available to Opportunity Scholars Participants
Advising - Personal, Academic, Transfer, Financial, and Career Advising
Tutoring - Free Group and Unlimited Individual Tutoring
Equipment Loans - Laptop Computers, Scientific Calculators, and Books
Group Activities - Field Trips to Area Cities for Cultural Events & Special Lectures, Visits to Four Year Campuses, and Community Services Projects
Academic and Skills Development Workshops - Time Management, Study Skills, Stress Management, Problem Solving, Communication, Resume Preparation, Adapting to College, Diversity, and many more are available throughout the year.
Academic Support -Staff identifies students who are struggling academically and offers support services and assistance in addressing their difficulties.

Eligibility Criteria
To Be Eligible Washington State Community College Students must meet only one of the three following requirements:
1) Be a first generation college student (neither parent/guardian has a bachelor’s degree)
2) Meet income guidelines (determined each year by the US Department of Education)
3) Documentation of a Disability

Learning Center Office Hours - Mon-Thurs–8:00 am-7:30 pm and Fri 8:00 am– 4:30 pm
