Washington State Is Open Enrollment:
- No Application Fee
- No specific ACT/ SAT Score*
- No pre-requisites*
Washington State is an open enrollment institution, which means you do not have to have a specific G.P.A., test scores, or particular high school classes to be accepted. You will receive additional information about enrolling in classes after your application is received and processed. Health programs are limited in enrollment and may have specific deadlines. *Excludes health programs. Please contact the Office of Admissions to receive an admissions packet for any health sciences program or download the applications by visiting the Health Sciences web page.

Submit Transcripts
Have the issuing institution mail your official transcripts to: Records Office, Washington State Community College, 710 Colegate Dr., Marietta, OH 45750.
The college does not accept unofficial transcripts for evaluation purposes.
*High school transcripts may be required for certain health programs. Please check the specific application packet.

Financial Aid
How do you plan to pay for college? Your first step is to fill out the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). To see if you qualify, go to www.fafsa.gov and fill out the 2012-2013 FAFSA using your 2011 income tax forms. If you were in enrolled in any college the last school year, you may be able to do a renewal of the FAFSA.

Meet with an Academic Advisor, Develop a Class Schedule, and Register for Classes
Ready to register for classes? An advisor will help you to select appropriate courses based on your educational goals. Academic advisors are located in Student Services, Main Building, First Floor. Please call 740-568-1930 to schedule an appointment with an advisor.
Once you meet with an academic advisor in student services for your first semester, you will be assigned an academic advisor for the rest of your time at Washington State.

Pay Fees or Complete Financial Aid Process by Payment Deadline
Fees must be paid to the Business Office by the deadline posted in the schedule each term or online to maintain your schedule.
- Make a payment in full online: go to MyWSCC and click on "Web Advisor"

Obtain a Student ID Card
You can obtain your Washington State Student ID card from Student Services in the Main Building, First Floor.
Please bring a copy of your schedule and a valid ID.

Obtain a Parking Permit
Parking permits are $25 for Spring semester 2013 and are available at the Business Office or Receptionist Desk, Main Building, First Floor.
Starting Summer Term 2013 there will be a Campus Access & Safety Fee instead of a Parking Permit Fee.

Access your Student E-mail Account, WebAdvisor and E-learning
Washington State uses this email system to communicate with students about registration, financial aid, and payment. Once your admissions application has been processed, students will receive an e-mail account. To access the e-mail account, please visit http://my.wscc.edu. Once logged in, you can access your e-mail by clicking on the "Webmail" tab.
MyWSCC also allows access to WebAdvisor and E-learning courses.

Purchase Books and Course Materials

If you are using financial aid to purchase your books, the bookstore marks special dates each term by which you must have your books charged.

Residency information obtained from the application for admission (more than the current address) will be used to determine residency for tuition purposes. Please refer to the Washington State catalog for a comprehensive description of residency related to the fees that are assessed by Washington State.
