Considering advancing your Associate Degree?
You've come to the right place!

WSCC offers a large number of Transfer Module (TM) courses, which are classes that transfer as guaranteed credit to any public college or university in Ohio. For example, if you take Composition I (ENGL 1510) at WSCC, then that will transfer as Freshman Composition anywhere in the state. You can find a listing of TM classes here (link to catalog page 14).

While transfer can't be guaranteed at private colleges or out of state institutions, that doesn't necessarily mean a class will not transfer—which is where the Center for Student Success comes in! We encourage all students who are thinking about getting a bachelor's degree to have a conversation with our This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. or other staff member in the Center for Student Success. We can help you get in contact with an advisor at a four-year school so you will know what classes will transfer best.

Articulations are a type of transfer where the pathway to a bachelor's degree is even clearer. There is 100% transfer between classes and programs that have articulations, so you know the exact duration of your education.

Western Governor's University (WGU) is a School Unlike Other Schools

As a competency-based, student-focused, online, nonprofit university, we do things a bit differently at WGU. From the bottom up, we're designed with students in mind—particularly, the busy, working, adult student who wants to earn a bachelor's or master's degree but for whom a traditional university education simply won't do.

WGU offers programs in four colleges for students with an associate's degree from WSCC: Teacher's College, College of Business, and the College of Information Technology
