Washington State Is Open Enrollment:

Washington State is an open enrollment institution, that means you do not have to have a specific g.p.a., test scores, or particular high school classes to be accepted. You will receive additional information about enrolling in classes after your application is received and processed. Health programs are limited in enrollment and may have specific deadlines. To receive an application packet for a health program, please contact the Admissions Office at 740.568.1900, fill out the online inquiry form or email  admissions@wscc.edu.

Once a Student, Always a Student.

Registration is going on now and it’s as easy as 1, 2, 3:

1)      How do you plan to pay for college? Financial Aid? Your first step is to fill out the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid). To see if you qualify go to http://www.fafsa.gov/  and fill out the 2010-2011 FAFSA using your 2009 income tax forms. Need help with the FAFSA? Call the Office of Financial Aid at 740-568-1914 to sign up for FAFSA sessions scheduled

2)      First time college student? Or do you have credit to transfer? If you are a first time college student you will need to take the COMPASS placement test to get started. You can sign up for the test by calling the Office of Student Development at 740-568-1930. If you are transferring credit from another college to WSCC, simply call your former school and request your transcripts sent here! Practice tests are available and can be a great help to your success. Stop by Student Services or call 740-568-1930 to schedule your COMPASS placement test.

3)      Ready to register for classes?  Once you complete the COMPASS, you will sit down with an advisor who will help you schedule your classes for Fall Quarter. If you don’t need to take the COMPASS because you are transferring courses from another college to WSCC, you can call the Office of Student Development at 740-568-1930 to schedule an appointment with an advisor.
