Campus Life
There's plenty to do at Washington State and it's not all work! Campus life includes opportunities to enjoy cultural events, participate in leadership positions and become part of a group with a common interest.
Activities on campus range from "hangin' out" with friends to organized events for the entire college community. The school year starts out with Welcome Back week the first week of fall quarter. Fall events have included a coffee house with live entertainment in the Commons, a giant game of Twister, and Freeze Your Ipod Off-—a chance to win a iPod Nano. The annual spring picnic, which is usually held in May, is open to all students, faculty and staff and includes food, fun and numerous activities. There are other fun events throughout the year that allow for numerous student interaction!
There are opportunities to get involved and contribute to the community through service projects, blood drives, and other activities.
Awareness events provide eye-opening opportunities, like Go Red for Women Day, Breast Cancer Awareness Day, global warming awareness and alcohol awareness activities.
Several programs and clubs on campus particpate in community service and activities, too.
