Prospective Students

Early Enrollment Program (EEP)

High school juniors and seniors may enroll in one regularly scheduled evening or Saturday credit courses per quarter on a seat available basis without any tuition charge. The early enrollment program may also be used during the summer terms following the sophomore and junior years for one day or evening course under the same conditions as the regular academic year Early Enrollment Program.

To participate in the program, students must observe the following guidelines.

  1. Students paying tuition will be given priority in the event that there are too many people registered for the class. High school juniors and seniors will be required to pay the quarterly registration fee, purchase their own books and pay any applicable fees.
  2. The minimum enrollment in all courses will be met by other Washington State Community College students. The minimum number necessary to hold a class will not include high school juniors and seniors participating in this program.
  3. The high school junior or senior exemption applies only to courses controlled by Washington State.
  4. Participants must meet Ohio residency requirements.
  5. Students planning to enroll in English or math courses must take the COMPASS placement test.
  6. Online courses are excluded from the Early Enrollment Program.
  7. The Early Enrollment Program is not open to students admitted to the College through the Post Secondary Enrollment Option Program (PSEO) except for the summer term.

The Early Enrollment Program is designed to assist high school juniors and seniors who are Ohio residents in career exploration by allowing them to complete College classes while still in high school. Students interested in this option should contact the student services office to be advised of application requirements.
