Step 2
Financial Aid
How do you plan to pay for college? Your first step is to fill out the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).
To see if you qualify, go to www.fafsa.ed.gov and fill out the 2009-2010 FAFSA using your 2008 income tax forms if you are planning on attending Spring 2010 and use your 2009 income taxes if you are planning on attending Fall 2010 or Winter and Spring 2010. If you were in enrolled in any college the last school year, you may be able to do a renewal of the FAFSA.

Step 3
Meet with an Academic Advisor, Develop a Class Schedule and Register for classes
Ready to register for classes? Two ways you can get registered for classes:
- The advisor will help you to select appropriate courses based on your educational goals and placement test results. Academic advisors are located in Student Services, Main Building, First Floor.
- Access your MyWSCC account by visiting http://my.wscc.eduhelpdesk@wscc.edu
Step 4
Pay Fees or Complete Financial Aid Process by Payment Deadline
Fees must be paid to the Business Office by the deadline posted in the quarterly schedule or online to maintain your schedule.
- Make a payment in full online: go to http://my.wscc.edu and click on "Web Advisor"
- In-Person: Business Office, Main Building, First Floor
- Mail to: Business Office, Washington State Community College, 710 Colegate Dr. Marietta, OH 45750

Step 5
Obtain a Student ID Card
You can obtain your Washington State Student ID card from Student Services in the Main Building, First Floor.
Please bring a copy of your schedule and a valid ID.
Step 6
Obtain Parking Permit
Parking permits are $20 a year and are available at the Business Office or Receptionist Desk, Main Building, First Floor.

Access your Student E-mail Account, WebAdvisor and E-learning
Washington State uses this email system to communicate with students about registration, financial aid, and payment. Once your admissions application has been processed, students will receive an e-mail account. To access the e-mail account, please visit http://my.wscc.edu. Once logged in, you can access your e-mail by clicking on the "Webmail" tab.
MyWSCC also allows access to WebAdvisor and E-learning courses.

Apply for Financial Aid & Scholarships
All degree and certificate seeking students can apply for financial aid by completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) at http://www.fafsa.ed.gov. Washington State’s code is 010453. Please allow 1–4 weeks for processing and the actual awarding of aid. For additional information, call 740-568-1908.
Purchase Books and Course Materials.
You can purchase books and additional course materials at the campus bookstore. For additional information, please call 740-568-1907, e-mail books@wscc.edu, or visit the bookstore site.
If you are using financial aid to purchase your books, the bookstore marks special dates each quarter by which you must have your books charged.
Disability Services
Applicants with disabilities who would like assistance can contact the Office of Disability Services in the Learning Center of the Arts and Science Building. You can also learn more by visiting the Disability Services site.
Career Services
Career Services offers the Mid-Ohio Valley Employment Resource (MOVER) as a resource for job and résumé posting, along with other information for employers and prospective employees. For more information, please visit the Career Services site.
Residency Information
Residency information obtained from the application for admission (more than the current address) will be used to determine residency for tuition purposes. Please refer to the Washington State catalog for a comprehensive description of residency related to the fees that are assessed by Washington State. To see if you qualify for instate tuition as a non-Ohio resident, please visit the reciprocity site.
