Student Ambassador Program
The Student Ambassador program is comprised of students selected to represent Washington State both on and off campus. Student Ambassadors serve as college employees and act as liaison between the college and the community. This program is designed to enhance a student's education not compete with it. The hours are flexible and students are used on an as needed basis.
Student Ambassador Benefits

Student Ambassador Responsibilities
- Provide campus tours for prospective students and their families.
- Assist the Student Services staff with public relations functions such as mailing, creating information packets and making student identification cards.
- Participate in coordination and preparation of student activities.
- Assist with college visitation sessions.
- Assist with commencement activities.
- Participate as a panelist for on/off campus activities.
- Make popcorn for weekly and special events.
Student Ambassador Qualifications
- Compete and submit and application and one letter of recommendation.
- Participate in the interview process.
- Maintain a 2.75 grade point average.
- Be available to work a flexible schedule at least 2 hours a week.
- Demonstrate leadership qualities, strong communication skills, and responsible decision making.
Application Process
- Complete and submit an application.
- Submit reference forms completed by individuals who can adequately respond to the questions asked. (This can be an employer, teacher, coach, etc.)
- Print application from website.
- Participate in the interview process.
