Agribusiness Management Program Fund
This fund philanthropically supports the Agribusiness Management program and its initiatives including, but not limited to, tuition assistance, program development, program relevant research, the acquisition and/or installation of program specific fixtures and structural improvements, equipment purchases, supply acquisition, staff development and training, and capital improvements.
Associate Degree Nursing Program Enhancement Fund
This fund was established to philanthropically support the Associate Degree Nursing Program, its students and faculty, program enhancements, events, equipment and material acquisitions, and capital improvements.
Automotive & Diesel Trucks Department Fund
This fund was established to purchase program equipment, materials, and supplies; to support program initiatives and special events, student enrichment, faculty and staff development and training, and capital improvements; and to underwrite scholarships and student emergency needs.
Carson K. Miller Library Enhancement Fund
This fund was created to support library enhancements, programs, events, volume additions, equipment and capital improvements. Contributions benefi t the students, faculty, staff and community members who use the library and contributions assist in the preservation and expansion of the library's collection and facilities.
Chemical Operator Online Certificate Fund
The purpose of this fund is to provide funding to purchase and develop appropriate course content, to support technical course delivery, and to purchase program related equipment for the Chemical Operator Online Certificate program.
Evergreen Arts & Humanities Fund
This fund benefits the development, growth, maintenance, and perpetuation of the Evergreen Arts & Humanities Series at Washington State. This series provides entertainment and enrichment to the community in the form of lectures, concerts, performance and visual arts, and festivals — all free of charge.
Evergreen Child Development Center Fund
The purpose of this fund is to philanthropically support the Evergreen Child Development Center and its initiatives including, but not limited to, tuition assistance, the development and installation of recreational facilities, equipment purchases, staff development and training, and capital improvements. Fund assets are used exclusively to benefit the Child Development Center; its clients, faculty, staff, and facilities; and its growth and expansion.
Faculty/Staff Endowment Fund
Gifts to this fund are building to the endowment level and will work to support the mission of the college through campus wide grants for educational initiatives, scholarships, capital improvements, and other needs as determined by an oversight committee selected by the faculty and staff of Washington State Community College.
Ora Elizabeth Vadakin Memorial Practical Nursing Program Fund
This fund supports Practical Nursing students with financial need by subsidizing the cost of state board nursing examinations, assisting students in acquiring textbooks and equipment necessary for continuation in the Practical Nursing program, and subsidizing professional development opportunities necessary to a successful practical nursing career.
Outreach, Access and Success Programs Fund
This fund supports the Outreach Programs and their initiatives including, but not limited to, tuition assistance, program development, relevant events, academic and professional development and training, equipment and supply purchases, and capital improvements.
Phi Theta Kappa (Alpha Rho Gamma Chapter) Student Assistance Fund
Awards from this funds support Phi Theta Kappa’s programs and students by providing funding to subsidize the cost of membership fees and to underwrite career development opportunities such as attendance at Phi Theta Kappa conferences, leadership seminars, and workshops.
Physical Therapist Assistant Program Student Assistance Fund
Fund assets are used exclusively to benefit PTA Program students who are not eligible for financial aid, who are completing their final term, and who require financial assistance to sit for their national licensing examinations.
President's Innovation Fund
Gifts to this fund are used to philanthropically support innovative faculty, student, and community development programs; academic/business liaisons; enrollment expansion opportunities; school-to-work projects; and capital improvements. Fund assets are used exclusively to benefit Washington State Community College; its students, faculty, and staff; and its growth and expansion.
Robert C. Fischer Memorial Fund
This fund supports the Respiratory Therapy Program, its students, and its initiatives including, but not limited to, tuition assistance, equipment and supply purchases, staff development and training, and capital improvements.
Senior Student Educational Fund
Awards from this fund defray the costs of textbooks, lab fees, technology connectivity fees, and online course fees for students sixty years or older enrolled in an academic course or degree program at WSCC. Applicants must complete and submit an application form at the time of registration.
Student Travel Fund
The Student Travel Fund was established as a resource to which recognized campus student groups and organizations may apply for funds for college related travel considered to be beneficial to the students and to the mission, vision, and goals of Washington State Community College. Final grant award decisions are made by the Washington State Community College Foundation Board of Directors.
Charitable gifts to the Unrestricted Fund are disbursed by the Foundation Board of Directors to benefit the greatest need of the college, the students and/or the Foundation.
Washington State Community College Alumni Association
This fund is in a building mode until sufficient funds become available to award scholarships and to support alumni activities.
WSCC Biological Sciences Fund
This fund supports the Biological Sciences programs, their students and initiatives including, but not limited to, tuition assistance, equipment and supply purchases, professional development and training, and capital improvements.
WSCC Memorial Fund
The Washington State Community College Memorial Fund was established to accept in memoriam gifts to the college when a specific named fund is not designated as the beneficiary, but the total sum of the memorial gift is designated for a specific campus purpose. Gifts to this fund may be used only for the purpose designated by the donor, and only college programs, facilities, departments, or capital/operating needs may be beneficiaries.
