Tips for applying for scholarships:

Complete your FAFSA! All Foundation scholarships require it.

Read the application criteria and only apply for scholarships for which you qualify.

Make sure your application is complete. Include required essays, references, transcripts, etc.

Submit your application on time.
Available Now for Fall 2012
Scholarship applications for the 2012-2013 academic year are now available. These scholarships will be awarded in the Spring for the Fall 2012 semester. Most award recipients are notified by mid-June.
A list of scholarships is below. Qualifications vary from scholarship to scholarship so read the criteria carefully to determine if you qualify. Students may apply for more than one scholarship. The deadline for application is indicated on each scholarship.
If you are awarded a Washington State Community College tuition-only institutional (college) scholarship (i.e. High School Honors Scholarship, Trustees Scholarship, Educational Talent Search Scholarship, Tech Prep Scholarship, Upward Bound Scholarship, Noon Rotary Match Scholarship, G.E.D. Scholarship, or Nontraditional Student Scholarship), please be advised that any Foundation scholarship award(s) will be applied first to cover tuition, in accordance with college policy. This may result in a decrease in your institutional (college) award. No refunds are given for scholarship awards over the amount needed for your tuition.

Available Year Round!
Applications for the Washington County Department of Job and Family Services Grant-in-Aid Scholarship are accepted year round until the funds are completely disbursed. This scholarship is now open to all heath sciences and auto/diesel majors.
Washington County Department of Job and Family Services Grant-in-Aid Scholarship
The AEP Ohio Scholarship is available to students majoring in Electronics, Instrumentation Control and Electric, Power Plant Operator, or a certificate program related to the electric industry who are AEP customers or children of customers. Applications will be accepted in the Fall, and Spring semesters. The deadline for Fall Semester 2012 is July 13, 2012.
