The Goal of Network Alliance:

To provide timely and relevant resources for individuals seeking employment through a series of workshops:

  • Job Search Assistance—Help participants identify their employable skills and develop a résumé suited to their career goals. Provide cover letter writing overview and interviewing techniques necessary to obtain employment.
  • Job Placement—Help participants identify employment opportunities in the local area through community contacts and other resources. Provide networking opportunities for participants that can lead to employment.

Network Alliance is a collaborative effort between Washington State Community College, The Career Center—Adult and Technical Training, and the Washington-Morgan Community Action programs to provide individuals seeking employment job hunting skills and networking opportunities.

Finding work can be stressful, but it's a lot easier when you know where to look! The key is to look in multiple places. During this workshop, we'll show you websites to help you in this process and share important information about the labor market.


Résumés 101

If you're looking for work, you must have a résumé! Whether your résumé just needs updated, or you've never made one before, this workshop will help you learn how to market yourself and your previous work experiences. You can't get a job interview without a good résumé - learn how to make your résumé stand out among the competition!


Cover Letters 101
