Welcome to the 10th season of the Evergreen Arts & Humanities Series
The 10th Season of the Evergreen Arts & Humanities Series is, indeed, a special year for Washington State Community College and the community at large. Over the past decade, this Series has become one of the area's most recognized sources of art, performance, concerts, and lecture. To celebrate this anniversary year, the Evergreen Arts & Humanities Committee has scheduled 10 extraordinary programs, once again bringing artists, lecturers, and performers of local, national, and international acclaim to our campus for people of all ages and interests to enjoy. Continuing a new tradition, the Series will again highlight works from some of the area's finest artists and craftspeople to complement our programs.
The generosity of businesses, organizations, agencies, and individuals in our community are truly our lifeline to success. The Schwendeman Agency, Inc. returns this year as our presenting sponsor, and additional support from organizations like Danser, Inc., Artsbridge, ORBI, WMOA, Glenwood Retirement Community, Ohio Valley Eye Physicians, and the Ohio Arts Council makes it possible for us to continue to offer our programs free and open to the public.
As we continue to grow and expand our programming, support and praise for the Evergreen Arts & Humanities Series increases as well. As one person responded last season on our program survey, "I would never have seen something like this if not for the Evergreen Arts & Humanities Series. I like your variety and the opportunity to see programs I would normally have to travel to see for much more money."
It is our pleasure to bring the 10th Season Evergreen Arts & Humanities program to our campus and community. On behalf of the entire Evergreen Arts & Humanities committee, I once again express our gratitude to all whose generous gifts, donations, and support make our Series possible, as well as to the community at large for its backing.
