chairs sidewalkIt is our policy that discrimination on the basis of sex includes harassment, which means unwelcome sexual advances, requests for sexual favors, and other verbal or physical conduct or communication of a sexual nature when submission to such conduct or communication is made a condition or term either explicitly or implicitly for participation in any program or activity or in any academic course; submission to or rejection of such conduct or communication by an individual is used as a factor in decision affecting such individual's education; such conduct or communication has the purpose of effect of substantially interfering with an individuals education, thus creating a hostile environment.

Grievance procedures apply only to alleged acts of harassment committed by students against students; students against employees of the college; employees against students.
