WSCC AgriClub is student club, and shall be composed of any students, in any academic program enrolled at Washington State Community College. The AgriClub of Washington State Community College strive to promote agriculture through an understanding of technology, the environment, and what we eat using leadership and knowledge. The WSCC Karate Club promotes and trains martial arts and self-defense in the college and community. Toward this end, the primary activity of the Club is the practice of Goshoko-ryu Karate as formulated by its founder, Sensei Brian Strickler. Sensei John Wright and Sensei Sam Kinker teach all levels of Goshoko-ryu Karate in the college’s day and evening Karate classes RECR 180. Several times during the year the club offers free self-defense classes (approximately 2 hours each) to the college and community. Military Veterans Club
Military Veterans Club is open to all military veterans, active duty, guard, and reserve personnel and their family members who attend WSCC. If you are interested in joining the Vets Club, please contact Greg Mitchell at ext. 1412 or by e-mail at email@example.com.
Phi Theta Kappa
Phi Theta Kappa is recognized as the official Honor Society of Community Colleges. The purpose of Phi Theta Kappa is to recognize and encourage scholarship among two-year college students. The Alpha Rho Gamma Chapter of Phi Theta Kappa is a very active organization on campus and in the local community. Our chapter helps local civic organizations like the YMCA, Eve Inc., the Relay for Life, Marietta Memorial Hospice, Habitat for Humanity, Empty Bowls, Zonta and the Humane Society. There are $37 million in transfer scholarships offered exclusively to Phi Theta Kappa members by more than 700 four-year colleges and universities. Physical Therapist Assistant Club
Physical Therapist Assistant Club is an organization that is made up of first year and second year students that are actively enrolled in the program. The mission of the club is to enhance the program with an introduction to community activities and health awareness as well as professional development.
