About Student Senate
Student Senate is comprised of officers elected by the student body as well as club representatives. Student Senate meetings are held the first Monday of every month from 4-5pm in the Business Wing Conference Room. Every student who meets all academic regulations at Washington State Community College is eligible to participate in Student Senate.
Mission of Student Senate
The purpose of Student Senate at WSCC is to provide representation and responsible leadership in student life and activities. Student Senate assists the College in developing and implementing non-academic activities for students and is the central body through which all student organizations are coordinated.
Student Senate Officer Elections
Are you ready to make a change on campus and build your leadership skills?
Student Senate is currently looking for creative and ambitious students to fill Officer positions. Students interested in running for a Student Senate Office must turn in the Student Senate Election Form and Candidate Statement to Jacklyn Callihan by 4:30pm on Thursday, September 13th. Elections will take place September 17th - September 26th. Officers will be announced on Friday, September 28th and inducted into Office on Monday, October 1st at the first Student Senate Meeting.
