Center for Student Success Hours

Monday - Thursday 8am - 6pm
Friday 8am - 4:30pm

Located on the main floor of the Arts and Sciences building, the Center for Student Success (CSS) is a one-stop shop for success-based resources. But remember, the resources can’t find you. You have to reach out to the CSS. As a good general rule, be sure to reach out to the CSS early AND often. Resources include:

Computer Lab

No computer at home? No problem. This 20 station computer lab is open to all students while the Center for Student Success is open.

Tutoring Program

The Washington State Community College Tutoring Program offers free individual and group tutoring to students in all subjects.

Transfer Assistance

Many of our students complete a two-year transfer degree at WSCC before going on to a four-year college. If this is your plan, you can visit the Center for Student Success for information and assistance in closing the gap between this college and the next one.

This program ensures that students who have disabilities, whether physical or mental in nature, have equal access to college resources. Washington State can provide accommodations for anyone who needs them.

Equipment Loans

Books aren’t the only things that are needed in the classroom. If you find yourself needing equipment, like the TI-83 calculator, the CSS may have something that you can borrow for the semester. Contact the CSS at 740.568.1913 to learn more.

Make-up Testing

In special circumstances, instructors may allow students to make up missed tests. In these cases, special arrangements can be made with the CSS to conduct the make-up testing. Remember, you must provide photo identification and allow enough time to complete the test before the Center closes for the day.
