The Washington State Community College Tutoring Program offers free individual and group tutoring to students in all subjects. Students having difficulty with coursework are encouraged to stop by the Center for Student Success as early in the term as possible for information about tutoring and other academic support services.

Three ways to receive tutoring

  1. Faculty Study Tables
  2. NetTutor (available through Sakai, click on NetTutor, then click the course subject for availability)
  3. One on One and Group Tutoring - request online by clicking here.

Becoming a Tutor

Interested students must have a cumulative grade point average of 2.75 and a "B" or higher in the course(s) to be tutored, or provide evidence of proficiency (i.e. completion of a higher level course in the subject). Tutor pay level is dependent upon credentials and experience with the program. A list of established employment levels and corresponding hourly pay rates are available upon request.
