Distinguished Alumni Awards
The Distinguished Alumni Award was established in 2007 as part of our 35th Anniversary celebration and as an on-going annual recognition of Washington State Community College alumni who have exhibited outstanding achievements in their professional careers and in community service.
The winners of these awards exhibit the qualities of community and professional leadership that are symbolic of the mission of Washington State Community College - They promote excellence, inspire others to reach their potential, encourage personal growth, and promote the enrichment of life through education and community service.
Each year, the Washington State Community College Alumni Association seeks nominations for two Distinguished Alumni Awards which honor outstanding graduates for their contributions to the community and/or their profession. Award winners are selected by the Distinguished Alumni Award Committee, which is composed of alumni and community members.
