What You Will Do:

As a Business Office Specialist for Amedisys, you will help our clinicians focus on patient care while you provide administrative, clerical and customer service support for the operational functions for the care center.

• Perform data entry and input of medical information and maintains patient medical records and data to support the billing, scheduling, payroll and compliance functions of the care center.

• File medical records, physicians’ orders, lab reports, progress notes, clinical notes, etc. on active and discharged patients and maintains security of all patient records and electronic medical records.

• Maintain office supplies and medical inventory supplies and distribution.

• Maintain the ongoing scheduling of patient visits for all assigned field staff, as well as communication updates, changes and new admissions to ensure continuity and coordination of patient care services.

• Greet visitors and answer the multi-line telephone and gives information to callers or routes calls to appropriate staff.

• Process, handle and distribute incoming and outgoing mail and all other correspondence (including electronic mail.)

Qualifications
Required:

• High School diploma or equivalent

• Minimum of two years general office experience, with one (1) of those years having been in data entry or word processing functions.

Preferred:
• Some medical terminology or health care industry experience

We currently have an opening in our Fluorproducts division for a Master Scheduler – Supply Chain to work at our Washington Works plant in Parkersburg, West Virginia location. This individual will be accountable for creating monthly and weekly production requirements and inventory plans that meet demand requirements from the CIBM / S&OP Planning process. Utilizes capacity analysis and customer service policies to govern schedules and finished product inventory plans. Responsible for creating and executing master scheduling time horizons and periods in accordance with business strategies and policies Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Develops the weekly Master Production Schedule at the detailed level (disaggregate/SKU) by translating the CIBM/S&OP monthly aggregate Production Plan for the CLT*/MPS horizon considering all demand and requirements for production. Maintains and communicates a valid time-phased master schedule Implement, execute , and maintain Master Production Schedule (MPS) policies to ensure stability and responsiveness. Maintains and provide valid Available to Promise (ATP) data . RLT / Planned Dlvy Time Identify and resolve conflicts with supply and demand and available capacity for the CLT/MPS horizon. Utilize “what if” simulations to evaluate proposed MPS changes to determine impact and execute the approved changes effectively. Recommend disposition of obsolete or slow moving inventories as appropriate .
