Retired judge to teach

Away from the bench and in front of a classroom in less than six months, a recently retired judge is putting his three decades of experience into the hands of the next generation of law enforcement.

Judge Ed Lane, who served as a Washington County Common Pleas Court Judge until the end of 2016, is joining the ranks of instructors at Washington State College of Ohio to begin teaching legal classes in the upcoming Peace Officer Basic Academy program.
