MARIETTA, OHIO— The Washington State College of Ohio (WSCO) Foundation recently announced its scholarship awards for the 2022-23 academic year. Through support from its donors, the Foundation was able to provide nearly $200,000 in scholarships to a record-breaking number of students.

“It was a wonderful night to witness a record-breaking number of students receiving scholarship awards. It was also a chance to celebrate the generosity of donors who give so that others may experience a quality and affordable education,” said Director of Foundation and Development Megan Hardway. “The scholarships we awarded give our students an opportunity to redefine their futures. This support will help them get the education they need to start great careers.”

To add to the evening’s excitement, students arrived at the event only knowing that they were selected for a Foundation scholarship. Details about their award and its value were revealed during the ceremony.   Following the presentation, students and donors had the chance to meet. Many students used the opportunity to express their appreciation for the support and share their plans for the future.

In total, an estimated $200,000 in scholarships were awarded to 123 students, the largest group the Foundation has ever served.

Below is the list of scholarships awarded. Also, be sure to check out the photos from that evening.
