Washington State College of Ohio (WSCO) completes its leadership team with the addition of David Hermann as Vice President of Student Affairs. Hermann, who has an extensive career in higher education, joins the institution from Lakeshore Technical College in Cleveland, Wisconsin.

MARIETTA— Washington State College of Ohio (WSCO) completes its leadership team with the addition of David Hermann as Vice President of Student Affairs. Hermann, who has an extensive career in higher education, joins the institution from Lakeshore Technical College in Cleveland, Wisconsin.

“David is a great addition to the strong leadership team we currently have in place,” said WSCO President Dr. Vicky Wood. “His breadth of experience in student affairs combined with his multi-state experience, established partnerships, and his ability to secure grants will add value as we advance the mission of the college.”

Prior to joining WSCO, Hermann served in a variety of leadership roles, including Executive Director of Admissions and High School Relations at Lakeshore Technical College in Wisconsin and Director of Enrollment Services at Kankakee Community College in Illinois. He began his career path in higher education as an Academic Advisor at both the University of North Texas and Kankakee Community College and worked several years in the K-12 school setting in Illinois prior to beginning his career in higher education.

Hermann holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Social Work from Illinois State University, a Master of Arts degree in School Counseling from Governors State University, and is completing his Doctorate of Philosophy degree in Higher Education Administration from Illinois State University.
