MARIETTA, OH — Washington State Community College (WSCC) Board of Trustees swore in its newest member, Tyler Wilcox, during its scheduled meeting on Monday afternoon.
Wilcox was appointed by Governor Mike DeWine. He is the Executive Vice President, Regional President for the South Region of Peoples Bank and joined the business in 2008. He earned his Bachelor of Arts in History from Brigham Young University and his Juris Doctor from The Ohio State University Moritz College of Law.
“I am honored to be appointed by Governor DeWine to serve at Washington State Community College,” Wilcox said. “WSCC is one of the pillars of our community, providing education and opportunities throughout our region. Dr. Wood and the educators and administrators at WSCC are helping to build a better future in Southeast Ohio. “Tyler is a valuable addition to our Board of Trustees,” said WSCC President Dr Vicky Wood. “We will benefit from his leadership, experience, and passion for improving the community.” She added that the college is “thrilled to have a representative of Peoples Bank serve on our Board. They are a prominent employer in the region and a long-standing supporter of Washington State.”
